Privacy Notice

PrimeHeart Ltd is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you contact us, how we use it, and your rights. It was last updated on 17 October 2026.

Who we are

This website is run by PrimeHeart Ltd, which is the "controller" of the information described here: we decide how and why it is used. You can contact us about your information at medicalsecretary@drcassar.co.uk.

What this notice covers

This notice covers this website and when you contact us by email or telephone. It does not cover your clinical records. If you become a private patient of Dr Cassar, PrimeHeart Ltd is the controller of your clinical record at the clinic where you are seen, and that record is handled separately from this website.

What information we collect and why

  • If you email or telephone us, we receive your name, contact details and anything you tell us. We use this to reply to you and to arrange an appointment. Please do not send detailed medical information by email.
  • Through our website analytics (see Cookies), we collect the pages viewed, the approximate area a visit comes from, and device and browser details. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

This website has no contact or enquiry form. We do not use your information for automated decision-making.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sends the information above to Google and may set the cookies _ga and _ga_S21E7GQT6D in your browser. We also use Google Search Console, which shows us how people find this website in Google Search. It does not place cookies on this website or collect information about you from it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may then work less well.

Who we share your information with

We only share your information when we need to: with Hostinger, who host this website; with Microsoft, whose business email service we use; with Google, for the analytics and Search Console described above; and with the clinic where you ask to be seen, so that they can arrange your appointment. We do not sell your information. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they must use the safeguards that the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep emails and call details only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to meet our legal and professional obligations, and then we delete them. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google account.

Keeping your information secure

To protect your personal data from accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, we have put suitable security measures in place. Emails are stored in our Microsoft 365 business email account, which is protected by two-step sign-in. Access to your personal data is limited to employees, agents, contractors and selected third parties who need it for legitimate business purposes. They are bound by confidentiality obligations and will only process your personal data in line with our instructions and this notice.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • ask us to erase your information, in some situations
  • ask us to restrict how we use it, in some situations
  • object to us using it, in some situations
  • ask for the information you gave us in a portable format, in some situations
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it

To use any of these rights, email us at medicalsecretary@drcassar.co.uk. We will ask for proof of your identity, or proof of authority if the request is made on someone else's behalf, and we normally reply within one month. We do not usually charge a fee, but we may charge a reasonable administrative cost, or refuse, if a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

If you are unhappy

Please tell us first so that we can put things right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if our practices change, and show the date at the top.
